According to the leading tourism agencies in the Alps, the current economic slowdown and security woes regarding inter-continental travel have led to a boom in local, European vacationing in Bavaria, Austria and the Dolomites. These destinations have experienced increased and unbroken growth since 2010. As a result, the hoteliers in these regions have, unfortunately, increased their pricing dramatically – unrightfully so, in our opinion.
Passo Tourismo has not gone along with this alarming trend of price increases. However, we are not immune to the increases of our suppliers and will, therefore, have to increase our prices, albeit marginally, in 2012, just to close the increasing gap a bit. Before we are finally forced to increase our prices in 2012, we are offering our “Season Favorite” (2010 and 2011), the Passo “Run for the Border” at current 2011 prices for a limited time only. All of our guests that have experienced the “Run for the Border” agree; this tour is the perfect symbiosis of driving experience, culinary enjoyment and wellness – and all of that in a two-day trip. Of course, the “Run for the Border” will stay a cornerstone of our offering – it is just too nice of a tour to be taken out of our assortment, just because of the current economic trend of “up-marketing”.
Don’t delay! Book a Passo “Run for the Border” until January 15th, 2012 for just €769 (single occupancy) or €939 (double occupancy) and receive a matching gift certificate for free. The tour is generally drivable between May 15th and October 31st 2012 and includes the full Passo Tourismo Package (Porsche 911, road book, overnight stay at a romantic wellness hotel, gourmet 4-course dinner and use of all hotel spa amenities).
