Lars founded Passo Tourismo in early 2009 – after spending over 10 years enjoying the mountain roads of the Alps – to share his passion for motoring in this unique region.
Lars was born in Stuttgart, but was raised in the Hudson Valley of New York. He comes from a long line of engineers and master mechanics and is fully bilingual in German and English. He has organized, planned and led alpine motoring excursions throughout the Austrian Alps and Italian Dolomites, piloting a variety of air-cooled Porsches for more than 15 years.
Amélie joined the Passo Tourismo Team in 2011 as its International Accounts Manager. The huge uptake in international clients in 2010 merited a further internationalization of the team. Amélie’s international background and the fact that she speaks five languages, play to our advantage. In addition, Amélie has been a successful journalist and project manager, all skills that are well placed at Passo Tourismo.
After over 10 years at the side of Lars Eise, she too has come down with a serious case of the “Porsche 911 virus”. She is our quality assurance officer, constantly in contact with our partner hotels and restaurants.
The Passo Tourismo team comprises a group of Porsche enthusiasts with diverse backgrounds. Whether passionate technician, vehicle care specialist or part-time gourmet, every member of the team adds to Passo Tourismo’s success through the quality of their work and a passion for what they do.
